This Privacy Policy explains how SIA "BMI Telecom", a company registered in the Republic of Latvia, Reg. No. 40103640149, VAT LV40103640149, registered address Skolas 21 - 501F, Riga, LV-1001, Latvia("BMI Telecom", "we", "us")processes personal data in BMI Store (the "Store"). BMI Telecom is the controller of this data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data we collect
- Contact details you enter at checkout: phone number, email and, optionally, a messenger handle.
- Company details for invoices: company name, country, VAT or tax number and address.
- Your order: selected numbers, services and destinations; payment status. Card data is entered only on the page of the payment provider and is not stored by us.
- Messages you send to our managers through the Store chat.
- Technical data: IP address, browser information and cookies needed for the Store to work (session, selected language).
- Identity documents, where the regulator of the number's country requires them for activation.
2. Why we use it
To create and fulfil your order and account (performance of a contract), to issue invoices and keep accounting records (legal obligation), to activate numbers in line with telecom regulations (legal obligation), to answer your questions and to protect the Store against fraud (legitimate interests). We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising without your consent.
3. Who we share it with
Payment providers (card payments), telecom carriers and number providers that activate your numbers, and IT service providers that host our systems. Some of them are located outside the European Economic Area; in that case transfers are protected by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or another lawful safeguard.
4. How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account or active services, and afterwards for the periods required by accounting and telecom laws. Chat messages and technical logs are kept for no longer than needed for the purposes above.
5. Your rights
You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to its processing, and receive your data in a portable format. To exercise your rights, write to info@bmi.io. You can also lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (www.dvi.gov.lv).
6. Changes
We may update this policy; the current version is always published on this page with its effective date.
